PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure suitable for attaching an imaging apparatus to a display device at the exterior for use.SOLUTION: An imaging unit comprises: an imaging apparatus which transmits images to a display device at the exterior; and an attachment part which is detachably attached to the display device. The imaging apparatus includes: a communication part which transmits the images to the display device; an outer cylinder part; and an image pickup device. The attachment part includes: a slider which may move relative to the outer cylinder part; a first attached body connected with the slider; a second attached body which may change a distance between the first attached body and the second attached body; and biasing members which bias in a direction that reduces the distance between the first attached body and the second attached body. The display device is held by the first attached body and the second attached body. 【課題】外部の表示装置に取り付けて使用すること場合に適した構造を提供する。【解決手段】外部の表示装置へ画像を送信する撮像装置と、表示装置に対して着脱可能な装着部とから撮像ユニットを構成する。撮像装置は、表示装置へ画像を送信する通信部と、外筒部と、撮像素子とを備える。装着部は、外筒部に対して移動可能なスライダーと、スライダーに連結された第１の被取付体と、第１の被取付体との間隔が変更可能な第２の被取付体と、第１の被取付体と第２の被取付体の間隔が近づく方向に付勢する付勢部材とを備え、第１の被取付体と第２の被取付体で表示装置を把持するようにする。【選択図】図３
