For the purpose of decoding as far as an end point from a halfway point of a second preceding frame P1 of the second decoding part 21 in a third period T2, an end signal PEN0 prohibits use of a process result of the first decoding part 20 in the third period T2, and permits use of the process result of a first preceding frame I0 of the first decoding part 20 in a second period T1. By reaching to a halfway point of decoding of the second preceding frame P1 of the second decoding part 21 in the second period T1, the information to a halfway point from a start point of a first following frame P2 that is contained in the plurality of first frames in the third period T2 is decoded by the first decoding part 20. 【課題】並列処理能力の低下を軽減すること。【解決手段】動画像復号処理装置で、復号制御部10から第1と第2の複数のフレームの情報が第1と第2の復号処理部20、21にそれぞれ供給される。第3期間T2の第2復号部21の第2の先行フレームP1の途中点から終了点の復号のために、終了信号PEN0により第3期間T2の第1復号部20の処理結果の使用が禁止され、第2期間T1の第1復号部20の第1の先行フレームI0の処理結果の使用が許可される。第2期間T1の第2復号部21の第2の先行フレームP1の復号の途中点の到達により、第3期間T2で第1の複数のフレームに含まれた第1の後続フレームP2の開始点から途中点の情報が第1復号部20によって復号される。【選択図】図1
