Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid type discrimination device and a fluid type discrimination method which can easily and accurately discriminate various types of fluids flowing in a pipeline.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 14 installed on a pipeline outer wall 101 includes a wedge 12 which makes an ultrasonic wave incident vertically to a fluid 103 with installing an ultrasonic vibrator 11 on a surface horizontal to a contact surface of a pipeline 100. A time measurement part 24 measures propagation time in the fluid 103 on the basis of first time from transmission of an ultrasonic wave to reception of a reflection wave reflected from an interface between a pipeline inner wall 102 and the fluid 103 and second time from traverse of an ultrasonic wave across the fluid 103 to reception of a reflection wave reflected from an interface between the pipeline inner wall 102 on the opposite side of the pipeline 100 and the fluid 103. A fluid type discrimination part 25 obtains the sound speed of the fluid 103 on the basis of the propagation time and acquired pipeline inner diameter, and discriminates the type of the fluid 103 on the basis of sound speed-to-fluid type relationship information DT1 indicating the correspondence between the sound speed and the fluid type.
【課題】配管内を流れる流体の多様な種類を簡易かつ精度よく判別することができる流体種類判別装置及び流体種類判別方法を提供すること。【解決手段】配管外壁101に設置した1つの超音波探触子14は、配管100の接面と水平な面に超音波振動子11を設置して超音波を流体103に垂直に入射させる楔12を有し、時間計測部24は、超音波の送信から配管内壁102と流体103との界面から反射された反射波を受信するまでの第1時間と、流体103内を横断し配管100の反対側の配管内壁102と流体103との界面で反射された反射波を受信するまでの第2時間とをもとに流体103の伝搬時間を計測する。流体種類判別部25は、この伝搬時間及び取得された配管内径をもとに流体103の音速を求め、該音速と流体種類との対応関係を示す音速対流体種類関係情報DT1をもとに流体103の種類を判別する。【選択図】図1 |
