Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high level of immediacy and synchronicity and enable RCS to be reduced.SOLUTION: An RCS reducing apparatus 3 mounted on an attachable/detachable external pod 4 of an aircraft 1 equipped with a radar detecting apparatus 2 for detecting the incoming directions and frequencies of incoming radar waves comprises an antenna 31 for transmitting and receiving radar waves, an amplitude phase controller 32 for controlling the amplitudes and phases of the radar waves received by the antenna 31 and outputting the controlled radar waves to the antenna 31, an RCS memory apparatus 33 for storing information indicating the amplitude and phase for cancelling the RCS of the aircraft 1 at every operating frequency and in every operating space of the antenna 31, and a controller 34 for reading information indicating the fitting amplitude and phase on the basis of the result of detection by the radar detecting apparatus 2 out of the RCS memory apparatus 33 and controlling the amplitude phase controller 32 on the basis of the read-out information.
【課題】即時性・同時性に優れ、RCSを低減可能とする。【解決手段】到来するレーダ波の到来方向および周波数を検知するレーダ検知装置2を備えた航空機1に着脱可能な外装ポッド4に実装されたRCS低減装置3であって、レーダ波を送受信するアンテナ31と、アンテナ31により受信されたレーダ波の振幅および位相を制御し、当該制御したレーダ波を当該アンテナ31に出力する振幅位相制御器32と、アンテナ31の全動作周波数および全動作空間において航空機1のRCSを打消すための振幅および位相を示す情報を記憶するRCS記憶装置33と、レーダ検知装置2による検知結果に基づいて該当する振幅および位相を示す情報をRCS記憶装置33から読出し、当該読出した情報に基づいて振幅位相制御器32を制御する制御装置34とを備えた。【選択図】図1 |
