Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device for allowing a locking member for maintaining a release state to move surely.SOLUTION: A driven-side rotor 5 is advanced to a drive-side rotor 4 and a clutch device 1 is made in an engagement state by a ball lock mechanism. A spiral groove 57 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the driven-side rotor 5, a pin 69 of a locking member 61 is inserted into the spiral groove 57 to bring a side 57a of the spiral groove 57 into contact with the pin 69 when the driven-side rotor 5 is in an advanced position. As a result, the driven-side rotor 5 is moved backward with its rotation to make the clutch device 1 in a release state. A guide groove 9 for guiding a movement locus of the pin 69 is provided on the side 57a of the spiral groove 57, and the pin 69 is guided toward a bottom face 58b of an annular groove 58 and automatically inserted into the annular groove 58 if the driven-side rotor 5 rotates while the pin 69 is locked in the guide groove 9. 【課題】解放状態を保持するための係止部材の移動を確実に行うことが可能なクラッチ装置を提供する。【解決手段】従動側回転体5を駆動側回転体4に対して前進させボールロック機構によりクラッチ装置1を係合状態にする。従動側回転体5の外周面に螺旋溝57を形成し、従動側回転体5が前進位置にある際に、係止部材61のピン69を螺旋溝57に挿入して、この螺旋溝57の側面57aをピン69に接触させることで、従動側回転体5を、その回転に伴って後退移動させてクラッチ装置1を開放状態にする。螺旋溝57の側面57aにピン69の移動軌跡を案内するガイド溝9を設け、ピン69がガイド溝9に係止した状態で従動側回転体5が回転した場合に、このピン69を環状溝58の底面58bに向けて案内し、自動的に環状溝58に挿入されるようにする。【選択図】図5
