Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a bio-based polyester resin which can be used in toner, by a simplified process that reduces complexity and process time.SOLUTION: A process comprises the steps of: i) preparing a rosin diol from a reaction product between a rosin acid and a cyclic alkylene glycol in a single reactor; ii) forming a bio-based polyester polymer from a diol component comprising the rosin diol and a dicarboxylic acid component; and iii) recovering the bio-based polyester polymer. The disclosure describes a one-pot process for preparing a sustainable resin which reduces overall process time, materials and cost. Reagents are added to a reactor under conditions that enable sequential condensation reactions producing the sustainable polyester, thereby making a bio-based polyester resin which can be used in toner.
【課題】複雑さを低減し、処理時間を短くし、単純化されたプロセスによって、トナーに用いることが可能な生物由来ポリエステル樹脂を製造する。【解決手段】1つの反応器でi)ロジン酸と環状アルキレングリコールの反応生成物からロジンジオールを調整する工程とii)ロジンジオールを含むジオール成分とジカルボン酸成分から生物由来ポリエステルポリマーを生成する工程とiii)生物由来ポリエステルポリマーを回収する工程を含む。全体的な処理時間を短くし、材料および費用を低減した、持続可能な樹脂を調製するための1ポットプロセスを記載する。連続的な縮合反応を可能にし、持続可能なポリエステルを生成する条件で、試薬を反応器に加えることにより、トナーに用いることが可能な生物由来ポリエステル樹脂を製造する。【選択図】なし |
