Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of providing appropriate luminance, if a short-circuit failure occurs in one of a plurality of light sources.SOLUTION: A microcomputer 900 in a light source control device identifies an LED of a short-circuit failure from among LED 111-116, on the basis of the detection result of a short circuit detector circuit 200 and a current value detected in current detector circuits 141-146. The microcomputer 900 controls switch elements 121-126 to intercept current supply to the identified LED. The microcomputer 900 also controls a constant current circuit 100 to supply an LED, which is unidentified above, with a current not exceeding a current corresponding to the number of the unidentified LED.
