Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide prepreg which is good in impregnation of matrix resin compositions, shows high flowability of a matrix resin during molding and provides a composite material excellent in mechanical characteristics with high productivity by suppressing deterioration of the strength of a molding due to increase of the thickness of the molding.SOLUTION: Prepreg is formed by impregnating, with a thermosetting matrix resin composition, a reinforcing fiber substrate consisting of a sheet in which a plurality of tow-like carbon fiber yarns composed of a carbon fiber of a single fiber fineness of 1.2-2.4 dtex are arranged in parallel with one another and an auxiliary yarn arranged on one or both sides of the sheet at an angle different from that of the carbon fiber yarn or a reinforcing fiber stitch yarn substrate in which a plurality of such sheets are laminated in orientation directions of the individual sheets at different angles and integrated with a stitch yarn.
【課題】 マトリックス樹脂組成物の含浸性が良好で、成形時にはマトリックス樹脂が高いフローを発現し、成形物の厚みが増すことによる成形物の強度低下を抑えて力学特性に優れる複合材料を生産性よく得る。【解決手段】 単繊維の繊度が1.2〜2.4dtexである炭素繊維からなるトウ状の炭素繊維糸条が、複数本で互いに並列に配列されてなるシートと、前記シートの片面或いは両面に前記炭素繊維糸条と異なる角度をもって配置した補助糸からなる強化繊維基材、または、同様のシートの複数枚がそれぞれのシートの配列方向が異なる角度をもって積層され、ステッチ糸で一体化された強化繊維ステッチ基材に、熱硬化性マトリックス樹脂組成物を含浸してなるプリプレグ。【選択図】 なし |
