PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle which can switch between a parking brake state and a neutral state by diverting a clutch operation means for operating a clutch and can suppress rise of the manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A saddle-riding type vehicle comprises a clutch K which can transmit or cut off driving force of an engine E to a drive wheel D at arbitrary timing, a transmission 1 which can change gears according to the travel state of a vehicle, and a clutch operation means 14 comprising an actuator operated by energization. In the saddle-riding type vehicle, a parking brake state in which power is transmittable between the engine E and the drive wheel D, and a neutral state in which the engine E is in a stopped state and power transmission between the engine E and the drive wheel D is cut off, can be switched by operating the clutch K with the clutch operation means 14. 【課題】クラッチを作動させるためのクラッチ用作動手段を流用してパーキングブレーキ状態とニュートラル状態とを切り替えることができ、製造コストが嵩んでしまうのを抑制することができる鞍乗り型車両を提供する。【解決手段】エンジンＥの駆動力を駆動輪Ｄに対して任意タイミングで伝達又は遮断可能なクラッチＫと、車両の走行状態に応じて変速可能な変速機１と、通電により動作するアクチュエータから成るクラッチ用作動手段１４とを具備した鞍乗り型車両において、クラッチ用作動手段１４にてクラッチＫを作動させることにより、当該エンジンＥと駆動輪Ｄとの間の動力伝達が可能なパーキングブレーキ状態と、エンジンＥが停止状態で当該エンジンＥと駆動輪Ｄとの間の動力伝達が遮断されたニュートラル状態とを切り替え可能とされたものである。【選択図】図２
