In the saddle-riding type vehicle, a parking brake state in which power is transmittable between the engine E and the drive wheel D, and a neutral state in which the engine E is in a stopped state and power transmission between the engine E and the drive wheel D is cut off, can be switched by operating the clutch K with the clutch operation means 14. 【課題】クラッチを作動させるためのクラッチ用作動手段を流用してパーキングブレーキ状態とニュートラル状態とを切り替えることができ、製造コストが嵩んでしまうのを抑制することができる鞍乗り型車両を提供する。【解決手段】エンジンEの駆動力を駆動輪Dに対して任意タイミングで伝達又は遮断可能なクラッチKと、車両の走行状態に応じて変速可能な変速機1と、通電により動作するアクチュエータから成るクラッチ用作動手段14とを具備した鞍乗り型車両において、クラッチ用作動手段14にてクラッチKを作動させることにより、当該エンジンEと駆動輪Dとの間の動力伝達が可能なパーキングブレーキ状態と、エンジンEが停止状態で当該エンジンEと駆動輪Dとの間の動力伝達が遮断されたニュートラル状態とを切り替え可能とされたものである。【選択図】図2
