Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deformation of a stainless member during the process of cooling the stainless member after the stainless member is heated for heat treatment.SOLUTION: A method of heat-treating a stainless member includes a heating step of heating a stainless member to a temperature equal to or higher than an on-heating phase transformation temperature region Ar causing phase transformation and a cooling step of cooling the stainless member heated in the heating step to a temperature lower than an on-cooling phase transformation temperature region Mr. In the cooling step, the cooling of the stainless member in a control temperature region including the on-cooling phase transformation temperature region Mr is suppressed. 【課題】ステンレス部材を熱処理のために加熱した後、このステンレス部材を冷却する過程でのひずみを抑制する。【解決手段】ステンレス部材を相変態する加熱時相変態温度域Ar以上の温度にまで加熱する加熱工程と、加熱工程で加熱されたステンレス部材を相変態する冷却時相変態温度域Mr未満の温度にまで冷却する冷却工程と、を実行する。冷却工程では、冷却時相変態温度域Mrを含む制御温度域でのステンレス部材の冷却を抑制する。【選択図】図6
