PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glossing device configured to stably peel a recording medium from an endless belt and convey it regardless of a sheet type of the recording medium by use of means which cools softened and melted toner to separate it by curvature, and to add high glossy effect.SOLUTION: A glossing device includes: a belt 24 for conveying a recording medium; a heating unit which heats the belt 24; a cooling unit which cools the belt 24 heated by the heating unit; and a peeling unit 85 which peels the recording medium from the belt 24 cooled by the cooling unit. The cooling unit 85 includes a peeling member 27 which comes into contact with the belt 24, a peeling conveyance member 208 which comes into contact with the peeling member 27 via the belt 24; contact position changing means 87 which changes a contact position of the peeling conveyance member 208 in contact with the peeling member 27; and a peeling control unit 225 which controls the contact position changing means 87.
