PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate matter carrying device which resolves such a problem as to bite particulate matter and, at the same time, suppresses lengthening of carriage time.SOLUTION: A particulate matter carrying device includes: a screw feeder which has a carriage path, a screw disposed in the carriage path and a motor for rotating and driving the screw, and carries the particulate matter with rotation of the screw; a measuring hopper which receives and measures the particulate matter discharged from the screw feeder; and control means which stops a normal operation of the motor when an increase amount at a first prescribed time Ta of a measurement value of the measuring hopper is less than a predetermined value and re-opens the normal operation of the motor after a second prescribed time Tb1 from the stopping. 【課題】粉粒体の噛み込みの問題を解消しつつ、搬送時間が長くなるのを抑制する。【解決手段】粉粒体搬送装置は、搬送路、搬送路内に設けられたスクリュー、およびスクリューを回転駆動するモーターを有し、スクリューの回転によって粉粒体を搬送するスクリューフィーダーと、スクリューフィーダーから排出された粉粒体を受け入れて計測する計量ホッパーと、計量ホッパーの計量値の第１所定時間Ｔａにおける増加量が所定値未満の場合に、モーターの通常運転を停止させて、この停止から第２所定時間Ｔｂ１後に、モーターの通常運転を再開する制御手段とを備える。【選択図】図３
