Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability including mounting a cable that connects a first substrate provided in a first casing and a second substrate provided in a second casing, and to provide means that is unlikely to be damaged by impact of fall or the like.SOLUTION: A multifunction machine 10 includes a printer casing 11, a scanner casing 12, and a hold member 50 that is supported in a rotatable manner by the scanner casing 12 and holds a flat cable 45 or the like. In the state where a fixed shaft 52 and a movable shaft 67 of the hold member 50 are supported in a shaft hole 82 of the scanner casing 12 and an engaging part 68 is engaged into the printer casing 11, a force F1 that is applied toward the fixed shaft 52 and the movable shaft 67 in a second direction 58 in the engaging part 68 is transmitted to an elastic support part 66 as a force F3 in a direction where a distance between the fixed shaft 52 and the movable shaft 67 is varied, and transmitted to the fixed shaft 52 as a force F2 in a direction where the fixed shaft 52 is removed from the shaft hole 82. 【課題】第1筐体に設けられた第1基板と第2筐体に設けられた第2基板とを接続するケーブルの取り付けを含む組み立て性を向上させ、かつ、落下などの衝撃によって破損が生じ難い手段を提供する。【解決手段】複合機10は、プリンタ筐体11と、スキャナ筐体12と、スキャナ筐体12に回動可能に支持されて、フラットケーブル45等を保持する保持部材50と、を備える。保持部材50の固定軸52及び移動軸67がスキャナ筐体12の軸孔82に支持され、かつ係合部68がプリンタ筐体11に係合した状態において、係合部68において第2方向58の固定軸52及び移動軸67向きへ付与される力F1が、固定軸52と移動軸67との距離が変動する方向への力F3として弾性支持部66に伝達され、かつ固定軸52が軸孔82から外れる向きの力F2として固定軸52へ伝達される。【選択図】図13
