Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell device capable of appropriately re-reducing an oxidized fuel battery cell as required.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell device comprises: a plurality of fuel battery cell units; a fuel cell module housing the fuel battery cell units; a fuel supply device, and an oxidant gas supply device; and a controller which performs a start step and an operation stop step. The controller is programmed so as to perform fuel battery cell protection control. The controller is further programmed so as to perform refresh control which re-reduces the oxidized fuel electrode or re-oxidizes the reduced oxidant gas electrode. The controller performs refresh control during the start step if fuel battery cell protection control cannot be performed in the previous operation stop step. 【課題】酸化された燃料電池セルの再還元を、必要に応じて適切に実行することができる固体酸化物型燃料電池装置を提供する。【解決手段】固体酸化物型燃料電池装置であって、複数の燃料電池セルユニットと、これらを収容した燃料電池モジュールと、燃料供給装置と、酸化剤ガス供給装置と、起動工程、及び運転停止工程を実行するコントローラと、を有し、コントローラは、燃料電池セル保護制御を実行するようにプログラムされ、コントローラは、さらに、酸化された燃料極を再還元し、又は還元された酸化剤ガス極を再酸化させるリフレッシュ制御を実行するようにプログラムされ、コントローラは、前回の運転停止工程において、燃料電池セル保護制御が実行できなかった場合に、起動工程中にリフレッシュ制御を実行する。【選択図】図25
