Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor capable of eliminating copper ion in a refrigerant circuit without producing reaction products such as zinc chloride.SOLUTION: In a rotary compressor 1 including a vertically-disposed sealed compressor housing 10 provided with a refrigerant discharging portion 107 at its upper portion, refrigerant sucking portions 104, 105 at its lower portion, and accommodating a lubricant, a compressor 12 disposed at a lower portion of the compressor housing 10 to compress the refrigerant sucked from the sucking portions 104, 105 and discharge the same from the discharging portion 107, a motor 11 disposed at an upper portion of the compressor housing 10 and driving the compressor 12 through a rotating shaft 15, and an accumulator 25 disposed at a side portion of the compressor housing 10 and connected to the sucking portions 104, 105 of the refrigerant, silicon dioxide having pores of diameter of a molecular diameter of water or less in a crystalline structure, or a composite including silicon dioxide having pores of a diameter of a molecular diameter of water or less in a crystalline structure, is disposed in the accumulator 25 and/or the compressor housing 10. 【課題】塩化亜鉛などの反応生成物を生成させずに冷媒回路中の銅イオンを除去することができるロータリ圧縮機を得ること。【解決手段】上部に冷媒の吐出部107が設けられ下部に冷媒の吸入部104、105が設けられると共に潤滑油が貯留される密閉された縦置きの圧縮機筐体10と、該圧縮機筐体10の下部に配置され、前記吸入部104、105から吸入した冷媒を圧縮して前記吐出部107から吐出する圧縮部12と、前記圧縮機筐体10の上部に配置され、回転軸15を介して前記圧縮部12を駆動するモータ11と、前記圧縮機筐体10の側部に取付けられ、前記冷媒の吸入部104、105に接続されたアキュムレータ25と、を備えるロータリ圧縮機1において、前記アキュムレータ25内及び/又は圧縮機筐体内10に、結晶構造に径が水の分子径以下の空孔を有する二酸化珪素又は結晶構造に径が水の分子径以下の空孔を有する二酸化珪素を含む合成物を配置した。【選択図】図1
