Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high purity optically active bicyclic γ-amino acid derivative useful for treatment of epilepsy, neurogenic pain and the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a high purity optically active bicyclic γ-amino acid derivative represented by the formula (IX), where the content of the diastereomer of the compound represented by the formula (IX) is less than 0.1%, the content of the enantiomer is less than 1.0% and the total content of the double bond positional isomers is less than 0.5%. 【課題】てんかんおよび神経因性疼痛等の治療に有用である、高純度な光学活性な二環性γ−アミノ酸誘導体を提供。【解決手段】式(IX)で表される化合物であって、式(IX)で表される化合物のジアステレオマーの含量が0.1%未満、エナンチオマーの含有量が1.0%未満、並びに、二重結合の位置異性体の総含有量が0.5%未満である高純度な光学活性な二環性γ−アミノ酸誘導体。【選択図】なし
