PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus capable of efficient recording of an image.SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording apparatus, a first opening/closing opens and closes a first charge region by moving a first shield part; a second opening/closing part opens and closes a second charge region by moving a second shied part; and a third opening/closing part opens and closes a middle region by moving a third shield part. The first opening/closing part sets the first charge region in a closed state, in a first case where a recording part and an irradiation part are moved to a first mounting surface region and an active energy-curable ink is irradiated with active energy rays and sets the first charge region in an opened state, in a second case where the recording part and the irradiation part are moved to a second mounting surface region and the active energy-curable ink is irradiated with active energy rays. The second opening/closing part sets the second charge region in an opened state in the first case and sets the second charge region in a closed state in the second case. The third opening/closing part sets the middle region in a closed state in the first case, sets the middle region in a closed state in the second case and sets the middle region in an opened state, in a third case where the recording part and the irradiation part are moved between the first mounting surface region and the second mounting surface region. 【課題】画像の記録を効率よく行うことができるインクジェット記録装置を提供する。【解決手段】第一開閉部は第一遮蔽部を移動させ第一投入領域を開閉し、第二開閉部は第二遮蔽部を移動させ第二投入領域を開閉し、第三開閉部は第三遮蔽部を移動させ中間領域を開閉する。第一開閉部は記録部と照射部が第一載置面領域に移動され活性エネルギー硬化型インクに活性エネルギー線が照射される第一の場合第一投入領域を閉鎖状態とし、記録部と照射部が第二載置面領域に移動され活性エネルギー硬化型インクに活性エネルギー線が照射される第二の場合第一投入領域を開放状態とし、第二開閉部は第一の場合第二投入領域を開放状態とし、第二の場合第二投入領域を閉鎖状態とし、第三開閉部は第一の場合中間領域を閉鎖状態とし、第二の場合中間領域を閉鎖状態とし、記録部と照射部が第一載置面領域と第二載置面領域の間を移動される第三の場合中間領域を開放状態とする。【選択図】図３
