Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a lubrication performance of an outer pin 32 in an upper part of an outer pin housing 50 at an in-wheel motor drive unit 21 which employs a cycloid-type reduction gear B with respect to a needle roller bearing 55.SOLUTION: In an in-wheel motor drive unit, outer pin holding holes 54 are formed at a pair of ring parts 52 of an outer pin housing 50 so as to be coaxial with an outer pin 32, the outer pin 54 is rotatably supported by a needle roller bearing 55 assembled into the outer pin holding hole 54, and a cycloid-type reduction gear B is employed which outputs the rotation of a curved plate 31 from an output shaft 33 which is coaxial with an input shaft 30 by making the curved plate 31 eccentrically oscillate and move by the revolution of the input shaft 30. Lubricant sumps 62 continuing to outside ends of the outer pin hole 54 located at least at an upper part out of a plurality of the outer pin holes 54 which are formed in the circumferential direction of a pair of the ring parts 52 of the outer pin housing 50 are arranged at the ring parts 52 of the outer pin housing 50, and lubrication performance is improved.
【課題】 サイクロイド式の減速機Bを採用したインホイールモータ駆動装置21における外ピンハウジング50の上方にある外ピン32の針状ころ軸受55に対する潤滑性能を向上させることを課題とする。【解決手段】 外ピンハウジング50の一対のリング部52に、外ピン32と同軸上に外ピン保持孔54を設け、その外ピン保持孔54内に組み込んだ針状ころ軸受55により外ピン54を回転自在に支持にし、入力軸30の回転により曲線板31を偏心揺動運動させて、その曲線板31の自転を入力軸30と同軸上の出力軸33から出力するサイクロイド式の減速機Bを使用するインホイールモータ駆動装置において、外ピンハウジング50の一対のリング52部の円周方向に複数形成した外ピン保持孔54のうち、少なくとも上部に位置する外ピン保持孔54の外側端部に連続する潤滑油溜まり62を外ピンハウジング50のリング部52に設けて、潤滑性能を向上させた。【選択図】 図2 |
