PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing unit with high safety and reliability capable of preventing erroneous detections of a water-level detection sensor for a sub-tank.SOLUTION: A sanitary washing unit includes: a nozzle device; a water pump; a heat exchanger; and a sub-tank 600 disposed at the upstream side of the heat exchanger. The sub-tank 600 has a water-level detection sensor that detects a water level of washing water. The water-level detection sensor includes: a common electrode 621 and plural water level electrodes 622 on the inner face of the sub-tank 600. The common electrode 621 is disposed on a face different from the face on which the water level electrode 622 is disposed. With this arrangement, an erroneous detection of remaining water adhered on the inner face of the sub-tank 600 as pooled water is prevented. Thus, the accuracy of detection and the reliability of a water-level detection sensor 620 is improved to reliably prevent overflow from the sub-tank 600. Accordingly, a sanitary washing unit with high safety and reliability is achieved. 【課題】サブタンクの水位検知センサの誤検知を抑制し、安全性と信頼性の高い衛生洗浄装置を提供する。【解決手段】ノズル装置と、水ポンプと、熱交換器と、熱交換器の上流側に配置されたサブタンク６００とを備え、サブタンク６００は洗浄水の水位を検知する水位検知センサを備え、水位検知センサはサブタンク６００の内面にコモン電極６２１と複数の水位電極６２２とを備え、コモン電極６２１と水位電極６２２とは異なる面に配置された構成とすることにより、サブタンク６００の内面に付着した残水を貯溜水として誤検知することを抑制することでき、水位検知センサ６２０の検知精度と信頼性を向上することが可能となり、サブタンク６００からの溢水を確実に防止し、安全性と信頼性の高い衛生洗浄装置を提供する。【選択図】図１１
