PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nail printing equipment for preventing a line from being thinned or blurred even at the end portion of a nail having a large inclination angle and for lightening the feel that the nail is pushed while being drawn by a writing instrument, thereby to prevent that a finger is moved by a force pushed by a writing instrument, so that a highly fine nail print can be realized, and a printing method for the nail printing equipment.SOLUTION: In the case where a nail T of a printing finger U1 placed on an XY plane is drawn while moving a drawing head 42 mounting a writing instrument 41 in an X-direction and a Y-direction, the inclination angle of the surface of the nail T of the printing finger U1 is detected so that the drawing is performed by changing the moving velocity of the drawing head 42 in accordance with the detected inclination angle of the surface of the nail T. 【課題】傾斜角度の大きい爪の端部においても線が細くなったりかすれたりすることを防止するとともに、描画中に筆記具によって爪が押される感じを軽減し、筆記具に押される力によって指が動いてしまうことを防止して、高精細なネイルプリントを実現することのできるネイルプリント装置及びネイルプリント装置の印刷方法を提供する。【解決手段】筆記具４１を装着した描画ヘッド４２をＸ方向及びＹ方向に移動させながらＸＹ平面上に載置された印刷指Ｕ１の爪Ｔに描画を施す場合に、印刷指Ｕ１の爪Ｔの表面の傾斜角度を検出し、検出された爪Ｔの表面の傾斜角度に応じて描画ヘッド４２の移動速度を変更して描画を施す。【選択図】図１
