Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of preventing air bubbles, which are generated in ink within a storage part, foreign matters and the like from adhering to a printing area of a plate cylinder.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a plate cylinder that performs printing for matter-subject-to-printing by transferring ink to the matter-subject-to-printing; a storage part in which the ink is stored; and an ink transfer roll 20 for transferring the ink, which is stored in the storage part, to the plate cylinder. An outer peripheral surface of the ink transfer roll 20 is provided with grooves 24 that are inclined with respect to the axial and rotational directions of the ink transfer roll 20, respectively. 【課題】貯留部内のインキで発生した気泡や異物等が版胴における印刷領域に付着することを防止することができる印刷装置を提供する。【解決手段】印刷装置は、被印刷物にインキを転写することにより当該被印刷物に対して印刷を行う版胴と、インキが貯留された貯留部と、貯留部に貯留されたインキを版胴に転写するインキ転写ロール２０とを備えており、インキ転写ロール２０の外周面には、インキ転写ロール２０の軸方向および回転方向に対してそれぞれ傾斜する溝２４が設けられている。【選択図】図２
