Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration attenuation apparatus and power storage facility having the same, capable of preventing an apparatus from being destructed due eccentric vibration by effectively attenuating the eccentric vibration when the eccentric vibration occurs at a rotating shaft of a flywheel and preventing kinetic energy accumulated in the flywheel from being wastefully consumed.SOLUTION: The vibration attenuation apparatus includes a rotating magnet 21A rotating together with a rotating shaft M, and a conductor plate 22 which is arranged on vacuum container (stationary member) 11 side, disposed to face the rotating magnet 21A, spaced in the axial direction of the rotating shaft M, the conductor plate 22 generating an eddy current by rotation displaced from the center of the rotating shaft M. 【課題】この発明は、フライホイールの回転軸に偏心振動が生じた場合、該偏心振動を有効に減衰させ、これによって偏心振動による装置破壊を防止し、かつフライホイールに蓄積した運動エネルギーを無駄に消費させることを防止できる振動減衰装置及び振動減衰装置を備えた電力貯蔵装置を提供する。【解決手段】回転軸Mと一体に回転する回転磁石21Aと、真空容器(固定部材)11側に配置され、かつ回転磁石21Aに対して回転軸Mの軸方向に間隔をおいて対向するように配置されて、該回転軸Mの中心から変位した回転により渦電流を生じる導体板22と、を具備することを特徴とする。【選択図】図2
