Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner in which good fluidity of the magnetic toner in a developing unit can be maintained even after the formation of a large number of images.SOLUTION: There is provided a magnetic toner that has specific fluidity and has an external additive added thereto, which has (1) a number average particle diameter of 70 nm or more and 200 nm or less, (2) a shape factor SF-1 of 100 or more and 250 or less, and (3) a shape factor SF-2 of 105 or more and 250 or less, where a coverage of the surface of toner particles with silica is 40.0% or more and 70.0% or less. 【課題】 多数枚の画像形成後であっても、現像器内における磁性トナーの流動性を良好に保つことができる磁性トナーを提供する。【解決手段】 1)個数平均粒径が70nm以上200nm以下であり、2)形状係数SF−1が100以上250以下であり、3)形状係数SF−2が105以上250以下である外添剤が添加されたトナーであって、トナー粒子の表面のシリカによる被覆率が40.0%以上70.0%以下であり、特定の流動性を有することを特徴とする磁性トナーである。【選択図】 なし
