A fixing control unit 25 supplies an AC current power from an AC driving circuit unit 41a to an AC heating body 51, so as to heat the AC heating body to a stand-by temperature, and supplies a DC source power from a DC driving circuit 41b only to, of a DC heating body 52, divided DC heating bodies 52a to 52j corresponding to divided areas in which the toner image is present, so as to heat the DC heating body 52 to a fixing temperature. 【課題】本発明は、定着部材を複数の加熱領域に分割して加熱する際の電力消費を削減する。【解決手段】複合装置１は、定着部４３が、画像データに応じたトナー画像の形成されている用紙を、定着温度に加熱される定着ローラで加熱・加圧してトナー画像を用紙に定着させる。定着制御部２５は、ＡＣ駆動回路部４１ａから交流電源電力をＡＣ加熱体５１に供給して待機温度に加熱し、ＤＣ加熱体５２のうち、トナー画像の存在する分割領域に対応する分割ＤＣ加熱体５２ａ〜５２ｊのみにＤＣ駆動回路４１ｂから直流電源電力を供給して定着温度に加熱する。【選択図】 図１
