Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide an optimal test condition for evaluating wear performance of a tire.SOLUTION: For an abrasion test machine to evaluate abrasion resistance of a rubber material, a decision method uses a computer 1 to decide an optimal test condition for evaluating wear performance of a tire 2. The decision method includes: a first simulation process S3 where the computer 1 calculates abrasion energy of a tire model 21 assuming that the same rolls on a road surface model 27; a second simulation process S7 where the computer 1 calculates the abrasion energy of a test piece model 31 assuming that the same contacts a grind stone plate model 33; and an identification process S8 to adopt the test condition of the second simulation process S7 where the abrasion energy of the test piece model 31 comes close to the abrasion energy of the tire model 21. 【課題】タイヤの摩耗性能を評価するための最適な試験条件を決定する。【解決手段】ゴム材料の耐摩耗性を評価する摩耗試験機について、タイヤ2の摩耗性能を評価するために最適な試験条件を、コンピュータ1を用いて決定するための方法である。この決定方法は、コンピュータ1が、路面モデル27の上でタイヤモデル21を転動させ、タイヤモデル21の摩耗エネルギーを計算する第1シミュレーション工程S3、砥石盤モデル33の上に試験片モデル31を接触させ、試験片モデル31の摩耗エネルギーを計算する第2シミュレーション工程S7、及び試験片モデル31の摩耗エネルギーがタイヤモデル21の摩耗エネルギーと近似する第2シミュレーション工程S7の試験条件を決定する特定工程S8を含む。【選択図】図6
