Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a TDC stop pf a crank shaft without using a motor generator so that an internal combustion engine can be properly restarted by the start of ignition.SOLUTION: When a TDC stop is predicted, or when the TDC stop occurs, fuel injection and ignition are performed to a cylinder 100 in an expansion stroke (cylinder of "double circle" of (a)), and the cylinder is avoided from the TDC stop by explosion. That is, a piston 110 of the cylinder 100 (cylinder of "single circle" of (a)) which is stopped or predicted to be stopped in the vicinity of compression TDC progresses up to the expansion stroke exceeding the compression TDC, and stopped in an intermediate position of the expansion stroke as indicated in (c) by the natural stop of a crank shaft 114 by forward rotation torque, pumping action, friction or the like caused by the explosion. By this constitution, upon a requirement of an engine start, the start of ignition for starting a direct injection engine 12 can be constantly performed by fuel injection or the like to the cylinder 100 (cylinder of "single circle" of (c)) of the expansion stoke.
【課題】内燃機関を着火始動により適切に再始動できるように、モータジェネレータを用いることなくクランク軸のTDC停止を回避する。【解決手段】TDC停止が予測され、或いはTDC停止が発生した場合に、膨張行程の気筒100((a) の「◎」の気筒)に対して燃料噴射および点火を行い、爆発によりTDC停止から回避させる。すなわち、圧縮TDC付近で停止し或いは停止すると予測された気筒100((a) の「 」の気筒)のピストン110は、圧縮TDCを超えて膨張行程まで進行し、爆発による正転トルクやポンピング作用、フリクション等によりクランク軸114が自然に停止させられることにより、(c) のように膨張行程の中間位置で停止させられる。これにより、エンジン始動要求時には、膨張行程の気筒100((c) の「 」の気筒)に対する燃料噴射等によって直噴エンジン12を始動する着火始動が常に適切に行われるようになる。【選択図】図8 |
