Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus configured to convert an AC voltage into an optional AC voltage by using a plurality of single-phase converters and capable of uniformly controlling voltages of capacitors of the respective single-phase converters.SOLUTION: In the power conversion apparatus for performing power conversion between three-phase AC input voltages and three-phase AC output voltages, cell converters 30x each including a capacitor C1, a converter for converting an AC voltage into a DC voltage and an inverter for converting a DC voltage into an AC voltage are arranged in respective phases, and converter control means 611 for controlling the converter of each phase is provided with power balance control means 612. The power balance control means 612 includes reverse phase component current common calculation means 613 for calculating reverse phase component current command values Idn*, Iqn* to be superposed to current command values so that voltages of the capacitors C1 of respective phases become uniform. 【課題】単相変換器を複数台用いて交流電圧を任意の交流電圧に変換するものであって、各単相変換器のコンデンサの電圧を均一に制御することが出来る電力変換装置を得ることを目的とするものである。【解決手段】3相の交流入力電圧と3相の交流出力電圧との間で電力変換を行う電力変換装置であって、コンデンサC1と、交流電圧を直流電圧に変換するコンバータと、直流電圧を交流電圧に変換するインバータとを備えたセル変換器30Xを各相に設け、各相のコンバータを制御するコンバータ制御手段611に電力バランス制御手段612を備える。そして、この電力バランス制御手段612は、各相のコンデンサC1の電圧が均一になるよう電流指令値に重畳させる逆相成分電流指令値Idn*、Iqn*を演算する逆相成分電流指令演算手段613を備える。【選択図】図10
