Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively decontaminate areas contaminated with radioactive materials by enabling estimation of a spot, among spots having high levels of radiation doses, located on an upstream side of a moving path of radioactive materials.SOLUTION: A radioactive material moving path estimation method comprises: a data acquisition step of acquiring radiation dose rate time-series data for each of a plurality of areas contaminated with radioactive materials; a correlation determination step of determining a correlation between one radiation dose rate time-series data acquired in one spot and other radiation dose rate time-series data acquired in other spots; and a moving direction determination step of determining a moving direction of radioactive materials having moved between the one spot and the other spots, if the one radiation dose rate time-series data is determined to have a correlation with the other radiation dose rate time-series data. 【課題】線量が高くなっている地点のうち放射線物質の移動経路の上流側に位置する地点を推定できるようにして、放射性物質で汚染された地域を効果的に除染できるようにする。【解決手段】放射線物質により汚染された複数の地点においてそれぞれ線量率時系列データを取得するデータ取得ステップと、一の地点で取得された一方の線量率時系列データと他の地点で取得された他方の線量率時系列データとの相関関係を判定する相関判定ステップと、前記一方の線量率時系列データと他方の線量率時系列データとに相関があると判定された場合に、前記一の地点と他の地点との間で移動した放射線物質の移動方向を判定する移動方向判定ステップと、を備えた。【選択図】図4
