PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device for a bar handle vehicle which inhibits a pipe part of a liquid flow pipe, which connects a pipeline connected with a reservoir to a hydraulic master cylinder, from largely protruding to the outer peripheral side of a cylinder body and thereby achieves downsizing of a master cylinder unit.SOLUTION: A cylinder hole 21b which opens at a lower end is provided at a cylinder body 21a of a hydraulic master cylinder 21. A liquid flow pipe 25 for connecting one end part of a pipeline 12, which allows the cylinder hole 21b and a reservoir 11 storing a working fluid to communicate with each other, is provided at a peripheral wall of the cylinder body 21a so as to protrude therefrom. An axis line L1 of a first pipe part 25a of the liquid flow pipe 25, which communicates with the cylinder hole 21b, is disposed in a direction along another surface excluding a parallel surface F1 arranged parallel with a rotation surface on which a knocker 43 rotates and an orthogonal surface F2 which is orthogonal to the parallel surface F1. 【課題】リザーバに接続された配管を連結させる液通管の管部が、シリンダボディの外周側に大きく突出することを抑制し、マスタシリンダユニットの小型化を図ることができるバーハンドル車両用ブレーキ装置を提供する。【解決手段】液圧マスタシリンダ２１のシリンダボディ２１ａに、下端が開口したシリンダ孔２１ｂを設ける。シリンダボディ２１ａの周壁に、シリンダ孔２１ｂと作動液を貯蔵したリザーバ１１とを連通させる配管１２の一端部を接続させる液通管２５を突設する。液通管２５のシリンダ孔２１ｂに連通する第１管部２５ａの軸線Ｌ１は、ノッカー４３が回動する回動面と平行な平行面Ｆ１と、該平行面Ｆ１と直交する直交面Ｆ２とを除くその他の面に沿った方向に配置される。【選択図】図１
