The movable tray 171 is configured to move in a rotating manner between a first position which is bent so as to cover the front wall 52 of the body casing 2 and at least a part of a paper discharge unit 5, and a second position extending apart from the front wall 52 of the body casing 2 and receiving the sheet P supplied into the body casing 2 through the sheet opening 61. 【課題】鉛直方向における小型化を図ることのできる画像形成装置を提供すること。【解決手段】プリンタ１において、本体ケーシング２は、前壁５２の近傍に配置され、用紙開口６１を介して本体ケーシング２内へ用紙Ｐを搬送するために用紙Ｐを受け入れるように構成される可動トレイ１７１を備えている。可動トレイ１７１は、本体ケーシング２の前壁５２および排紙部５の少なくとも一部を被覆するように折れ曲がる第１位置と、本体ケーシング２の前壁５２から離れるように延び、用紙開口６１を介して本体ケーシング２内へ供給される用紙Ｐを受け入れ可能な第２位置との間を、回転移動するように構成されている。【選択図】図２
