Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile stripping unit that achieves downsizing of a manufacturing apparatus for manufacturing a wire, and may be applied to various kinds of manufacturing apparatuses of different specifications.SOLUTION: A stripping part 24 moves a Y axis direction to a direction of approaching to a tip of an electric wire W disposed at a crimp unit 50 for crimping a terminal T, and, after stripping a coat positioned on a tip side of the electric wire W, moves the Y axis direction to a direction of receding from the tip of the electric wire W. 【課題】電線を製造する製造装置の小型化を図ると共に、仕様の異なる各種の製造装置に適用できる汎用性の高い皮剥ぎユニットを提供すること。【解決手段】皮剥ぎ部２４は、端子Ｔを圧着するために圧着ユニット５０に配置された電線Ｗの先端に近づく向きにＹ軸方向を移動し、当該電線Ｗの先端側に位置する被覆を剥ぎ取った後、電線Ｗの先端から遠ざかる向きにＹ軸方向を移動する。【選択図】図１
