Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized sensor control circuit which, by not only using an analog signal input/output terminal as a multifunctional terminal but also providing a multivalued clock signal input terminal, suppresses the increase in the number of terminals of the sensor control circuit.SOLUTION: A sensor IC 1 includes an analog signal input/output terminal AO which receives address data and gain data as analog signals and outputs a detection signal of a sensor element 104 as an analog signal, and a multivalued clock signal input terminal CLK which receives a ternary clock signal. While the analog signal is converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 101, one of an operation of writing address data to an address register 102, an operation of setting a gain to a gain register 103, and an operation of determining a detection signal output based on determination of output determination circuits 106 and 108 is performed in accordance with the discrimination result of a clock discriminator 107 which discriminates the level of the ternary clock signal. 【課題】アナログ信号入出力端子を多機能端子として使用するとともに、多値クロック信号入力端子を備えることにより、センサ制御回路の端子数の増加を抑制し、小型化したセンサ制御回路を提供する。【課題の解決手段】センサIC1は、アナログ信号であるアドレスデータとゲインデータが入力されるとともに、アナログ信号であるセンサ素子104の検出信号を出力するアナログ信号入出力端子AOと、3値クロック信号が入力する多値クロック信号入力端子CLKとを備え、A/D変換器101でアナログ信号をデジタル変換する一方、3値クロック信号のレベルを弁別するクロック弁別器107の弁別結果に応じて、アドレスレジスタ102に対するアドレスデータ書き込み動作か、ゲインレジスタ103に対するゲイン設定動作か、出力判別回路106,108の判別に基づく検出信号出力判別動作か、のいずれか一つの動作を行う。【選択図】図2
