PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel optical system.SOLUTION: An optical system includes: first lenses LA1 through LA3 for condensing incident light; a first prism PA having a reflective surface for reflecting light transmitting through the first lenses; second lenses LB1 through LB3 for condensing incident light entering from a direction different from that of the light entering the first lenses; and a second prism PB having a reflective surface for reflecting light transmitting through the second lenses.
