Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To abolish after processing by preventing deformation of an inside-diameter surface of an outer race to secure dimensional accuracy, in a stator unit including a stator and the outer race of a one-way clutch.SOLUTION: A stator unit for a torque converter includes a stator 36 and an outer race 42 of a one-way clutch, and both of them are fixed in a relatively unrotatable manner. The outer race 42 is made of a sintered material, and an inside-diameter surface of the stator 36 and an outside-diameter surface of the outer race 42 are loosely fitted together. 【課題】ステータとワンウェイクラッチのアウタレースとからなるステータユニットにおいて、アウタレースの内径面の変形を防止して寸法精度を確保することにより後加工を廃止する。【解決手段】ステータ36とワンウェイクラッチのアウタレース42とからなり両者を相対回転不能に固定したトルクコンバータ用ステータにおいて、アウタレース42を焼結材製とし、ステータ36の内径面とアウタレース42の外径面とのはめあいをルーズフィットとした。【選択図】図1
