Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce possibilities that discharge resistance may be reconnected even by an external disturbance or the like after a synchronous operation and downsize a circuit.SOLUTION: A field winding-type synchronous electric machine comprises: a stator 5 connected to an electric system; a rotator having field windings 10 wound on a shaft; a brushless AC exciter 4 mounted on the shaft; and a rectification circuit 100 that rectifies the output of the brushless AC exciter 4 to be given to a DC line, where discharge resistance DR and a first circuit, in which a diode 11b and a parallel circuit of a first opening/closing device are connected in series, are connected in parallel to the filed windings 10 and a second opening/closing device is provided in series in one line of a DC line that connects the first circuit to the rectification circuit 100. Opening and closing of the first opening/closing device is controlled by electric potential generated by dividing an induction machine voltage inducted to the field windings 10 by resistance, the device is connected to the rectification circuit 100 side of one line of the DC line, to which the second opening/closing device is connected through the diode 11e from the point of the divided electric potential, and the second opening/closing device is closed at approximate synchronous speed. 【課題】同期運転後に外乱等でも放電抵抗が再接続される可能性を低減させ、且つ、回路を小型化するする。【解決手段】電力系統に接続される固定子5と、シャフト上に界磁巻線10を巻回した回転子と、シャフト上に搭載されたブラシレス交流エキサイター4と、ブラシレス交流エキサイター4の出力を整流して直流線路に与える整流回路100とを備え、界磁巻線10に並列に、放電抵抗DRと、ダイオード11bと第1の開閉装置の並列回路を直列接続した第1回路を接続し、第1回路と整流回路100を接続する直流線路の一方の線路に直列に第2の開閉装置を備え、第1の開閉装置を界磁巻線10に誘導された誘導機電圧を抵抗により分圧した電位により開閉制御するとともに、分圧した電位の点からダイオード11eを介して第2の開閉装置が接続された直流線路の一方の線路の整流回路100側に接続し、第2の開閉装置を同期速度近傍において閉成する。【選択図】図3
