PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garden pruner by which pruning work can be performed with less labor and without taking time.SOLUTION: A garden pruner comprises: transportation means 3 which can freely move in the right and left direction; a pair of pillars 1,1 which are mounted on the transportation means 3; and attachment means 10 which is supported with the pillars 1, 1 to freely move in the vertical direction. A bush cutter 5 with a power unit including protrudingly a comb-like cutting part 16 is held by the attachment means 10. The attachment means 10 is formed capable of switching between a vertical cutting usage state for pruning the side face of tree that the bush cutter 5 is rotatably held in which the comb-like cutting part 16 can perform a swinging operation in the front and back direction and around a horizontal axis L, and a crosswise cutting usage state for pruning the top face of tree that the bush cutter 5 is fixed in which the comb-like cutting part 16 is protrudingly held in the front horizontal direction. 【課題】少ない労力で、かつ、時間を掛けずに剪定作業を行える植木剪定装置を提供する。【解決手段】左右方向走行自在の搬送手段３と、搬送手段３に搭載された一対の支柱１，１と、支柱１，１に上下位置調整自在に保持される取付手段１０とを、備え、櫛状刃部１６を突出状に有する動力付き刈払機５を、取付手段１０に保持させ、取付手段１０は、刈払機５を回動自在とし櫛状刃部１６が前後方向水平軸心Ｌ廻りに揺動操作可能とされた植木側面剪定用の縦伐使用状態と、刈払機５を固定し櫛状刃部１６が前方水平突出状に保持された植木上面剪定用の横伐使用状態とに、切替可能として構成されている。【選択図】図１
