PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directivity control system and a voice output control method capable of forming directivity from a microphone array unit to a voice position, and when the voice positions within a privacy protection area, capable of controlling the output of voice data of voice collected by the microphone array unit or stopping collecting voice.SOLUTION: A directivity calculation section 34 calculates a direction from an omnidirectional microphone array unit 2 to a voice source position A corresponding to a specified position A' of image data according to a designation of a desired position in image data displayed on a display device 36. An output controller 35 controls the omnidirectional microphone array unit 2 to form directivity in a direction calculated by using voice data of collected voices. When the voice position A is located in a privacy protection area PRA, the output controller 35 controls the output the voice collected by the omnidirectional microphone array unit 2, or controls the omnidirectional microphone array unit 2 so as to stop the sound collection. 【課題】マイクアレイ装置から音声位置に向かう指向方向に指向性を形成し、音声位置がプライバシー保護領域である場合に、マイクアレイ装置により収音された音声の音声データの出力を制御し、あるいは音声の収音を休止させる。【解決手段】指向方向算出部３４は、ディスプレイ装置３６に表示された映像データの任意の位置指定に応じて、全方位マイクアレイ装置２から、映像データの指定位置Ａ'に対応する音声位置Ａに向かう指向方向を算出する。出力制御部３５は、全方位マイクアレイ装置２により収音された音声の音声データを用いて、算出された指向方向に指向性を形成する。出力制御部３５は、音声位置Ａがプライバシー保護領域ＰＲＡに含まれる場合に、全方位マイクアレイ装置２により収音された音声の出力を制御し、あるいは全方位マイクアレイ装置２に収音を休止させる。【選択図】図４
