Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient hand dryer capable of automatically detecting a hand drying state while the hand is being inserted without performing the direct visual observation of the hand drying state.SOLUTION: A hand dryer includes: a housing 10 having a blow port 44 and a hand insertion part 11; a blow part 42 for supplying dry air from the blow port 44 to the hand insertion part 11; conductive parts 22a, 22b arranged adjacent to the hand insertion part 11 inside the housing 10; drying state detection means for detecting the drying state of hands inserted to the hand insertion part 11 on the basis of electrostatic capacities generated in the conductive parts 22a, 22b by the hands inserted to the hand insertion part 11; and control means for controlling the operation of the blow part 42.
【課題】手の乾燥状態を直接目視で確認しなくても、手を挿入したままで手の乾燥具合を自動で検知することができる使い勝手のよいハンドドライヤーを提供する。【解決手段】送風口44および手挿入部11を有する筐体10と、送風口44から手挿入部11に乾燥風を供給する送風部42と、手挿入部11に近接して筐体10の内側に配置された導電部22a,22bと、手挿入部11に挿入された手により導電部22a,22bに生じた静電容量に基づいて手挿入部11に挿入された手の乾燥具合を検知する乾燥具合検知手段と、送風部42の運転を制御する制御手段とを備える。【選択図】図2 |
