PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer in which, even in a case that a liquid storage body storing a liquid generating bubbles (gas) easily is mounted, such liquid can be supplied stably and breakage of the liquid storage body can be prevented.SOLUTION: The ink jet printer related to the present invention includes: a liquid storage body which comprises a liquid storage chamber that stores liquid generating gas with passage of time due to chemical change of included components, a liquid flowing port that communicates with the liquid storage chamber and flows the liquid and a gas flowing port that communicates with the liquid storage chamber and flows gas; a recording head which communicates with the liquid flowing port and discharges the liquid flowed out from the liquid flowing port; and gas exhausting means which communicates with the gas flowing port and flows gas to the outside of the liquid storage body. 【課題】気泡（気体）を発生させやすい液体を収容する液体収容体を装着した場合であっても、係る液体を安定に供給でき、かつ液体収容体の破損を防止することが可能なインクジェットプリンターを提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係るインクジェットプリンターは、含有成分の化学変化により経時的に気体を発生させる液体を収容する液体収容室、該液体収容室に連通し該液体を流通させる液体流通口、および該液体収容室に連通し気体を流通させる気体流通口を備える液体収容体と、前記液体流通口に連通し、該液体流通口から流出した液体を吐出する記録ヘッドと、前記気体流通口に連通し、前記液体収容体の外部に気体を流出させる気体排出手段と、を有する。【選択図】図１
