Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip carry-out conveyor which does not produce excessive resistance even when the amount of chips varies and can compress chips under appropriate pressure.SOLUTION: A chip carry-out conveyor is provided freely rotatably with an endless running rotary member 5 connecting hinge plates 52 and mounted with chips on the upper surface of the hinge plate 52 for carrying-out and includes a compression plate 71 which faces the upper surface of the hinge plate 52 and is arranged so that a clearance between the upper surface of the hinge plate 52 and the compression plate 71 narrows gradually toward the downstream side in the chip conveyance direction and a coil spring 76 which presses the compression plate 71 with a specified force in the direction of the hinge plate 52 and moves the compression plate 71 so that the clearance widens when a force stronger than the specified force acts on the compression plate 71. 【課題】切屑の量が変動しても、過大な抵抗力を生じることなく、適切な圧力で切屑を圧縮できる、切屑搬出コンベアを提供する。【解決手段】ヒンジプレート52を結合したエンドレス状の走行回転部材5をコンベア本体2内に回転自在に備え、ヒンジプレート52の上面に切屑を搭載して搬出する切屑搬出コンベアにおいて、ヒンジプレート52の上面と対向し、ヒンジプレート52の上面との隙間が切屑の搬出方向の下流側に次第に狭くなるように配置される圧縮板71と、圧縮板71をヒンジプレート52の方向へ所定の力で押付け、所定の力を超える力が圧縮板71に作用した時には隙間が広くなるように圧縮板71を移動させるコイルスプリング76を備える。【選択図】図3
