Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of efficiently cooling the air in a casing without increasing the machine size.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine has a first division plate which is disposed being faced to the end plane of a stator and a core ring in a shaft direction. The first division plate has a second cooling water path communicating with a water chamber via a water pipe in which cooling water supplied from water chamber flows. Plural division plate cooling fins are radially disposed with respect to a rotation axis on a plane facing the internal surface of the casing of the first division plate. 【課題】装置サイズを増大させることなく、ケーシング内の空気を効率的に冷却できる回転電気機械を提供する。【解決手段】第1の仕切り板は、配水管を介して水室と連結され、水室から供給される冷却水が内部を流れる第2の冷却水路を有し、軸方向における固定子及び中子リングの端面に対向して設けられている。複数の仕切り板冷却フィンは、第1の仕切り板の面のケーシングの内壁面に対向する面上に回転軸に対して放射状に配列されている。【選択図】図1
