Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of emitting light in desired illumination distribution.SOLUTION: A light source device includes: a plurality of LEDs 21 for emitting light frontward; a rod lens provided so as to face a front side of the LEDs 21; and a case 10 for accommodating the LEDs 21 and the rod lens and having an opening for allowing the light emitted from the LEDs and transmitted through the rod lens to pass. The LEDs 21 include: first LEDs 21x arranged in parallel along an X direction; and second LEDs 21y arranged in parallel along the X direction. Between the first and second LEDs, a light shielding mask 50 is provided so as to stride over front surfaces 21xa, 21ya of these, and by this light shielding mask 50, spreading of light from the first and second LEDs 21x, 21y can be suppressed. 【課題】所望な照度分布で光を出射できる光源装置を提供する。【解決手段】光源装置は、前方に向けて光を出射する複数のLED21と、LED21の前方側に対向するように設けられたロッドレンズと、LED21及びロッドレンズを収容すると共にLEDから出射されロッドレンズを透過した光を通過させる開口を有するケース10と、を備えている。LED21は、X方向に沿って並設された第1LED21xと、X方向に沿って並設された第2LED21yと、を含んでいる。第1及び第2LEDの間には、これらの前面21xa,21yaを跨ぐように遮光マスク50が設けられており、この遮光マスク50により、第1及び第2LED21x,21yからの光が広がるのを抑えることができる。【選択図】図4
