Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a right and left wheel driving device which can obtain a relatively large amplification factor of torque difference and simplify the device configuration to reduce the cost.SOLUTION: A right and left wheel driving device 1 comprises a gear device 5 which is interposed between two driving sources 2, 3 and right and left drive wheels 4R, 4L and is formed by combining two planetary gear mechanisms 10A, 10B having three elements and two degrees of freedom on the same shaft. Both planetary gear mechanisms 10A, 10B include sun gears S1, S2, second rotors R1, R2 and third rotors C1, C2. The gear device 5 has a first combined element 11 in which one S1 of the sun gears and the other C2 of the third rotors are combined, and a second combined element 12 in which one third rotor C1 and the other sun gear S2 are combined. The two driving sources 2, 3 are connected to the first combined element 11 and the second combined element 12, respectively, and the right and left drive wheels 4R, 4L are connected to the second rotors R2, R1, respectively. 【課題】比較的大きなトルク差増幅率を得つつ、装置構成を簡素化してコストを低減することができるようにした、左右輪駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】二つの駆動源2,3と左右の駆動輪4L,4Rとの間に介設され、3要素2自由度の遊星歯車機構10A,10Bを同軸上に二つ組み合わせてなる歯車装置5を備えた左右輪駆動装置1である。遊星歯車機構10A,10Bは、何れもサンギヤS1,S2と第二回転体R1,R2と第三回転体C1,C2とを含む。歯車装置5は、一方のサンギヤS1と他方の第三回転体C2とが結合された第一結合要素11と、一方の第三回転体C2と他方のサンギヤS2とが結合された第二結合要素12とを有する。二つの駆動源2,3はそれぞれ第一結合要素11,第二結合要素12に接続され、左右の駆動輪4L,4Rはそれぞれ第二回転体R1,R2に接続される。【選択図】図1
