Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause an optical filter to fully function while reducing generation of noises such as flare and ghost.SOLUTION: The imaging device for focusing a beam of light transmitting through an imaging lens 100 on an imaging element 102 includes a laminate 101 which is formed on the imaging element 102 and transmits the beam of light. The laminate 101 is formed with the upper face end thereof, which is positioned at a position where is wider than an optical necessary width H which allows the most outer beam of light in a flux of light beam, which includes a beam of light entering into a pixel located at the outer end in an effective pixel area of the imaging element 102, to transmit therethrough. The imaging device is applicable to a receiving apparatus. 【課題】フレアやゴーストといったノイズの発生を低減しつつ、光学フィルタを十分に機能させる。【解決手段】撮像レンズ100を透過する光線を撮像素子102上に結像する撮像装置において、撮像素子102上に設けられ、光線を透過させる積層物101と、積層物101を、その上面端部が、撮像素子102の有効画素領域の外端部の画素に入射する光線からなる光線束の最も外側の光線を透過できる光学必要幅H以上の位置に設ける。本技術は、受信装置に適用することができる。【選択図】図2
