Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation fan which prevents soot and dust from adhering to a switch case while reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: A ventilation fan 1 includes: a frame 2 formed into a frame shape; a motor 4 attached to the frame 2; an impeller 5 rotatably held by the motor 4; a switch case 20 which houses an operation switch 30 for switching the energization state of the motor 4; and a metal cover 50 attached to an outer surface of the switch case 20. The switch case 20 is disposed in a space that is enclosed by the frame 2 and the metal cover 50 at a corner of the frame 2.
