Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hindrance from being caused to a building plan and suppress an increase in construction cost, when a megalo-earthquake is coped with by controlling deformation of a base isolation layer by making a base-isolated building collide with an object subjected to collision.SOLUTION: In a base-isolated building 10, a base isolation layer 40 is provided between a building 20 and a foundation 30. A protrusion 34 provided in the foundation 30 in such a manner as to protrude to the side of the building 20, and a recess 22 provided on the bottom of the building 20 in such a manner as to have an irregular relationship with the protrusion 34 are provided within the building. A horizontal clearance C2 between the protrusion 34 and the recess 22 is set smaller than a horizontal allowable deformation amount of the base isolation layer 40. 【課題】免震建物を被衝突物に衝突させて免震層の変形を制御することで極大地震に対応するにあたり、建築計画に支障が生じないようにすると共に、施工コストの増大を抑制する。【解決手段】建物20と基礎30との間に免震層40が設けられた免震建物10であって、基礎30に建物20側へ突出するように設けられた凸部34と、建物20の底部に凸部34と凹凸関係になるように設けられた凹部22とが建物内部に備えられており、凸部34と凹部22との水平方向のクリアランスC2が、免震層40の水平方向の許容変形量よりも小さく設定されている。【選択図】図1
