PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine securing the interactive property of scroll display extending plural cameras with reduction in an amount of transmission data.SOLUTION: A video distribution system comprises: a video acquisition apparatus 110 which comprises plural video capturing units 111 to capture plural videos; a distribution server 120 which superimposes the identifiers of the video capturing units 111 on the videos, selects a video on the basis of information on a video range desired to view by a viewer, and acquires a static image from the videos; and a video presentation apparatus 130 which displays a video or a static image received from the distribution server 120. The video presentation apparatus 130 determines which of the video and the static image to display on the basis of the identifier of a video capturing unit superimposed on the received video and the information on the video range desired to view by the viewer. 【課題】複数のカメラにわたるスクロール表示のインタラクティブ性の確保と、伝送データ量の削減とを両立させる。【解決手段】本発明に係る映像配信システムは、複数の映像撮影部１１１を備えて複数の映像を撮影する映像取得装置１１０と、複数の映像に映像撮影部１１１の識別子を重畳させ、視聴者が視聴を要望する映像範囲の情報に基づいて映像を選択し、また、複数の映像から、静止画像を取得する配信サーバ１２０と、配信サーバ１２０から受信した映像又は静止画像を表示する映像提示装置１３０とを備え、映像提示装置１３０は、受信した映像に重畳された映像撮影部の識別子及び視聴者が視聴を要望する映像範囲の情報に基づいて、映像と静止画像のどちらを表示させるか決定する。【選択図】図１
