Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolation mechanism capable of suppressing the falling and movement of an apparatus body, when an external force such as an impact and a vibration caused by earthquake or the like is applied, with a simple configuration and to provide an image forming apparatus including the vibration isolation mechanism.SOLUTION: The vibration isolation mechanism includes a sliding unit, a unit fixing member, a first energizing member, and a fixation releasing member. The sliding unit is attached to be horizontally slidable with respect to the apparatus body and to be inserted into or pulled out from the apparatus body. The unit fixing member is rockable between a first position where it is engaged with the sliding unit and a second position where it is disengaged from the sliding unit and is arranged in the first position, to fix the sliding unit to the predetermined position of the apparatus body. The first energizing member energizes the unit fixing member toward the first position. When the external force of a predetermined level or more is applied to the apparatus body, the fixation releasing member arranges the unit fixing member in the second position against the energizing force of the first energizing member, to allow the sliding of the sliding unit.
【課題】地震等による衝撃や振動等の外力を受けたとき、簡易な構成で装置本体の転倒や移動を抑制することができる免振機構、及びそれを備えた画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】免振機構は、摺動ユニットと、ユニット固定部材と、第1付勢部材と、固定解除部材と、を有する。摺動ユニットは、装置本体に対し水平方向に摺動可能であり、装置本体に挿入または引き出し可能に装着される。ユニット固定部材は、摺動ユニットに係合する第1の位置と、摺動ユニットとの係合が解除される第2の位置との間を揺動可能であり、第1の位置に配置されることにより摺動ユニットを装置本体の所定位置に固定する。第1付勢部材は、ユニット固定部材を前記第1の位置方向に付勢する。固定解除部材は、装置本体に所定以上の大きさの外力が加えられたとき、第1付勢部材の付勢力に抗してユニット固定部材を第2の位置に配置させて摺動ユニットの摺動を許容する。【選択図】図3 |
