In the casing, a central area CA where combustion air and exhaust gas circulate to a heat storage material is formed, and also, a projection wall 14 forming an outer peripheral area OA for preventing combustion air and exhaust gas from circulating to a heat storage material near to the side of an inner surface 9a of the casing is provided in such a manner as to surround the periphery of the central area. 【課題】施工が容易であって、短時間でかつ安価に製作することが可能であり、またコンパクトな形態であって省スペースで設置することが可能な蓄熱式バーナの蓄熱部構造を提供する。【解決手段】燃焼用空気と排ガスが交互に流通するバーナ用ガス通路1に、排ガスから熱を回収し、回収した熱で燃焼用空気を加熱する球状蓄熱材3を収容したケーシング4を設けた蓄熱式バーナの蓄熱部構造において、ケーシングに、蓄熱材に燃焼用空気や排ガスが流通する中央領域CAを形成するとともに、中央領域の周囲を取り囲む配置で、ケーシングの内面9a側付近の蓄熱材に燃焼用空気や排ガスが流通するのを妨げる外周領域OAを形成する突出壁14を設ける。【選択図】図1
