Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head having improved performance for mixing and vaporizing fuel direct-injected into a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: In a cylinder head 3, two intake ports 6 and one injector 15 are provided corresponding to one cylinder bore 2. The injector 15 is arranged between the two intake ports 6 so that atomized fuel is jetted toward an air flow jetted from the two intake ports 6. In the intake ports 6, air guide means are provided, respectively, for air to be jetted as swirl flows 17 from the intake ports 6 into the combustion chamber 14. The two swirl flows 17 are reversely directed to be opposed to the jetting direction of the atomized fuel. Even when the fuel is injected at a high pressure, the atomized fuel having head-on collision with the swirl flows 17 decays its momentum to promote the mixture with air and the vaporization. 【課題】燃焼室に直噴された燃料の混合性・気化性に優れたシリンダヘッドを提供する。【解決手段】シリンダヘッド3には、1つのシリンダボア2に対応して2つの吸気ポート6と1つのインジェクタ15とを設けている。インジェクタ15は2つの吸気ポート6の間に配置しており、霧化燃料は2つの吸気ポート6から噴出した空気流に向けて噴出する。吸気ポート6には空気の案内手段が設けられており、吸気ポート6の空気は旋回流17として燃焼室14に噴出する。2つの旋回流17は、霧化燃料の噴出方向と対向するように逆向きになっている。燃料を高圧で噴射しても、霧化燃料と旋回流17とが正面衝突するため、霧化燃料の勢いが削がれて空気との混合性・気化が促進される。【選択図】図4
